\nFueled by rabid capitalism<\/o:p>
\nThat builds for you a prison<\/o:p>
\nOf desire, barbed wire
\nTouched with the fire of lust for \u0093more.\u0094<\/o:p>
\nSimplify, ask \u0093Why should I have <\/o:p>
\nA tenth pair of shoes <\/o:p>
\nWhen others have none?<\/o:p>
\nOr a gas-guzzling monster, just for fun<\/o:p>
\nWhile others bleed oil at the point of a gun?
\n<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\nResist the urge to stay silent,<\/o:p>
\nWhen the world\u0092s violent powers<\/o:p>
\nRain down showers of fire<\/o:p>
\nOn innocents, mired in poverty,<\/o:p>
\nAbandoned by liberty<\/o:p>
\nAnd by those who refuse to see<\/o:p>
\nReality, yet go to church on bended knee<\/o:p>
\nThanking God for what\u0092s given to me.

\nStand up for the minority.<\/o:p>
\nUse your power for the powerless.<\/o:p>
\nGive hope to the hopeless,<\/o:p>
\nVoice to the voiceless.<\/o:p>
\nRefuse to accept less<\/o:p>
\nTake no rest \u0091till we\u0092re all blessed

\nResist your own resistance,<\/o:p>
\nYour desire for distance<\/o:p>
\nFrom the pressing persistence <\/o:p>

\nWhose cardboard homes we pass as <\/o:p>

\nIn their eyes.

\nResist the A-list mentality,<\/o:p>
\nThe elitist banality<\/o:p>
\nOf a superficial reality.<\/o:p>
\nKnow your own worth,<\/o:p>
\nYou, this blessing from birth,<\/o:p>
\nCreated of earth and divine breath,<\/o:p>
\nBigger than death, a vessel of grace,<\/o:p>
\nNo matter your clothing labels,<\/o:p>
\nHow well you know your times tables,<\/o:p>
\nOr can\u0092t even afford basic cable.<\/o:p>
\nThese fables of false value<\/o:p>
\nForever shall you shed, setting your head<\/o:p>
\nOn a higher course, a greater goal,<\/o:p>
